Tim’s entrepreneurial background is supplemented by years of solid business leadership and team building.
Today, Tim is president and owner of Adaptasoft, a multi-million dollar payroll software and consulting firm. In his role, he casts the vision and develops the team to deliver on that vision. He’s a ‘big-picture” kind of guy who provides the inspiration for many of Adaptasoft’s new product and service innovation. Tim is also our lead operations consultant.
He is actively involved in several boards, both for profit and non-profit, and he actively consults with companies throughout the payroll industry.

Background
Tim started at Adaptasoft in 1997 as the first employee hired by the company’s founder, Bob Huber. Prior to joining the company, Tim had run his own computer assembly and repair business. Tim played a key role in Adaptasoft’s early growth and development. By being involved at the ground floor, Tim had opportunity to work in nearly every area, from programming to tech support to sales to administration and management. In October of 2000, Tim and several other employees purchased the company from the founder. Over time, Tim bought out the other employees. Since purchasing the company, client growth has increased by 1,000% thanks to Tim’s hard work, passion and leadership (not to mention lots and lots of plane trips!).
When Tim became majority owner in 2003, he led Adaptasoft through a significant transition, taking it from being merely a software producer to a company offering complete end-to-end payroll solutions. This required a total “rewiring” of the company’s ideology and the addition of new talents and capabilites. Tim built his new team around this clear vision, which still guides Adaptasoft today.
Currently Adaptasoft is in the midst of an ambitious, phased product development plan that is providing dramatic improvements to our software and will continue to do so for years to come. Tim is providing overall direction for this. “We are making major investments to keep our technology ahead of the pack. We will not just coast on our past successes.”

Personal
Tim travels a lot for work and pleasure. He enjoys experiencing new cultures, collecting information about interesting places, backpacking and canoeing. He’s an avid runner, participating in many marathons.
He is very active in his church and has a passion for music, especially playing the piano and singing.
