What makes Adaptasoft different from everybody else?
There are a lot of capable payroll software products out there - and we are certainly proud of ours - but we know of no other company that truly partners with their clients the way Adaptasoft does. We believe our role is to help our clients be successful. Software is part of the solution, but so too is helping them improve operational efficiency, enhance their marketing and get better sales results. That's why we have experts on staff who are available for consulting. We host an annualusers conference with outstanding speakers and we are continually looking for new ancillary product partners to help our bureaus be more competitive and profitable. This partnership mentality is part of our culture and guides our decisions.
What are your plans for continued software improvements?
Our new CyberPay Online is a major new product, but after it releases in the near future, we won't be just sitting on our hands. Instead, work is already being done on the next releases of CyberPay and CyberPay Online, which will add significant new functionalities to both. And we have a defined roadmap with a clear vision for the next major steps forward. Although we can't publish the specifics on this website, call us and we'd be glad to share what we can.
Does Adaptasoft run their own payroll service bureau?
No. We believe the best way for us to support our service bureau clients is by focusing 100% of our time, energy and investment in improving our payroll software and services. We don't want to be distracted from that, nor do we wish to compete with our customers.
What is the conversion and implementation experience like with Adaptasoft?
Conversions will always be hard work, but with our defined REAPS Implementation process, they are much less painful. You’ll work with a dedicated project manager who will guide you step by step through a proven process. A written project plan, clear accountability and numerous checkpoints ensure things stay on track. And data conversion is simplified and accelerated thanks to our automated conversion helper utility.
Is Adaptasoft a stable company/Who owns it/Do you have plans to sell the business?
We've been steadily growing since 1996 and our President, Tim Troxel, has been here since the beginning. He has the largest ownership share; the remainder is held by local investors. All are committed to seeing the business grow over the long-term and continue to be a positive force in our small community. We have absolutely no plans to sell.

Since 1996, which makes us a senior player in the payroll service bureau software industry.
Who develops your software?
We have several developers in-house. For major product initiatives, we supplement that with external development resources that we know and trust.
How many people work for Adaptasoft?
Approximately 20, plus a several independent contractors who work almost exclusively for Adapasoft.
Where is Francesville and why are you located there?
Francesville is small town located in northwestern Indiana, about 100 miles southeast of Chicago. We are located there because that is where our company founder lived and because as a growing business in a small community, we can have a large positive impact.
