Company History

AdaptaSoft was founded in 1995 with the first version of FlexPay. FlexPay was designed to service payroll that is done in-house. In 1998, AdaptaSoft introduced CyberPay, which services payroll bureaus.

AdaptaSoft has made continual updates to both FlexPay and CyberPay. Many architectural changes have been made including a sweeping new release of FlexPay in 2000. Additional releases prompted by customer input and general product enhancements occur at least annually.

In October of 2000, the original owner of AdaptaSoft, Inc. expressed interest in leaving the payroll software business. A small group of employees took the initiative to purchase AdaptaSoft and made a new commitment to improved customer service and expanded service offerings.

Since this ownership change, the number of CyberPay customers that AdaptaSoft, Inc. serves has grown by more than 500%! We attribute this success to our dedication to provide our customers with outstanding products, helpful education services and great customer service. We are committed to developing, maintaining, and enhancing the best payroll software on the market. Our products are written in Microsoft Access. This allows our customers to enjoy unsurpassed flexibility, dependability, and reporting capabilities.
